Hippity, Hoppity...

...Easter's on its way!  I've finally added a little bit of Easter to our home.  I don't like the bright, bold colors for our home.  I prefer the softer, muted colors.  Most of the furniture in this room is white, so I think these colors blend with everything better.

I've had the eggs and rabbit for a few years; a sweet purchase from Hobby Lobby.

The other items were purchased at Kirkland's.  The tray, which came from HomeGoods, has a story behind it.  You will read about it in a later post.  You can tell there is a recurring well-worn trail in my shopping -- Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods and Kirkland's.

Don't you just love this rabbit??!!  You may still be able to find him at Hobby Lobby.

He is so vintage looking.  He stays out in public all the time.  I just move him around the house.  The eggs all have a nice vintage color as well -- very soft.

I found these little carrots at Target. I thought they were adorable!

Not only chocolate, but hazelnut chocolate!

Thanks so much for stopping by to see this little taste of Easter decor.  Have a great day!

  2. Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.

  3. Benita,
I discovered your blog at Something To Talk About at Karen's Up on The Hill. You had me with your header! Which Blogger template do you use?

Then the first photo had to be Pinned. All of your photos are so lovely. Now, I'm trying to figure out which way to follow along on your blog.

    Happy Easter,

    Judith

    1. Judith,

Thank you so much, that is so very sweet! I’m glad you found me and I can’t wait to check out your blog. The main way I find about other blogs is through the link parties or if they comment, then I can read their blog. I purchased a template from Pipdig because I wanted something “clean and crisp”, if that makes any sense. And thank you on the photos. I really do enjoy photography and have been at it for a long time. But it is still trial and error for me. :-)

I do have an email option on the top right of my blog if you are interested in receiving the emails! I’m so glad you visited and commented! Have a wonderful day! And Happy Easter!

  7. I love it. I am a bright color girl myself, paired with our black, white and grey interior, but I love your decor. Soothing, relaxing, vintage gorgeousness. I love the plant pot in the first photo and the rabbit that stays out, he is adorable. Happy Easter.

    1. Thank you so much Nikki! I have changed colors and decor so much for each of our houses. This house is a temporary rental and has yellow walls, so I thought I would keep the decor simple and a little toned down. I've had some bold colors in the past and love those also! Hope you have a wonderful Easter!!
