I know that this post is cutting close to the deadline for a great gift for Mother's Day, but I promise these projects are so easy that it won't take you any time to create one for a gift!
Welcome back to the monthly 10 on the Tenth blog hop and a special thank you to Katie at Let's Add Sprinkles for hosting this month! If you aren't familiar with 10 on the Tenth, then you are in for a treat! Ten bloggers (more or less) share projects, recipes, table decorating ideas, home decor ideas, etc. for under $10.00. Each month, we have a different theme. This month, we are celebrating all those moms out there!
Instead of creating a new gift idea, I thought I would share some of my previous craft projects that would make great gifts. They are all under $10.00 and require a minimal amount of time.

These are so quick and easy to make. How cute would it be to create a set with different locations or sayings on them and include them with a cute tote bag?
My favorite project for a gift is the Spring Bookmark. These pastel colors are so feminine.
They are a great gift for the avid book reader. Even though I read constantly, I keep mine in my Bible.
You can also create a Stenciled Bread Board.
My son loves his and keeps it displayed on his kitchen counter.
These Book Clocks are also another cool gift idea.
It takes a little bit of time to cut out the pages for the clock back, but still doable in time for Mother's Day.
I hope these projects have given you some ideas for Mother's Day! Before you leave, please check out gift ideas from my blogging friends!
Happy Mother's Day!

DeleteHappy Mother's Day to you, Benita! These are sweet and easy to make Mother's Day ideas ~ I like the bookmark, especially. We are and were big readers in our family. My mom always gave books for birthdays and Christmas since she had been a teacher. This was her special gift to find the perfect book for whatever age/interest each of her grandchildren was/had.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful ideas and I'm happy to be with you again for 10 on the 10th,

Thank you so much, it is different! That's what I usually do....it's much easier that way! :-) Hope you had a great Mother's Day! Hugs!
DeleteI really like the bookmarks:) Took my mother her gift today...a lovely soft gown and robe set. She loved it and said she hadn't had anything new to sleep in in awhile so points for me:) My mother is 90 1/2 and still lives at home alone. She is always dressed up and her nails are always lovely and perfectly manicured...she does them herself!!!! She is amazing for sure.
ReplyDeleteCheri, thank you so much! I like the bookmarks because they are dainty and feminine. That is so awesome! My mother loves those sets also! I think that is great that she is able to live on her own and do things like that! My mom is 81 and still does all of that. I hope to be that busy when I get older! I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Hugs!
DeleteSuper cute ideas Benita. Not sure which one I like best. I've stenciled vintage cutting boards. The luggage tags are really unique. Great DIY gift ideas.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Carol! They all make good gifts as I've given them all to friends/family as gifts...well, no one complained anyway...LOL Hope you had a great Mother's Day! Hugs!
