Celebrate Your Story! #181

I cannot believe how quickly time is just whizzing by!  We are coming up on Memorial Day and before you know it, it will be the 4th of July and then Christmas!  I'm so glad I've been picking up Christmas presents when I see sales.  I've cleared out space in one of our closets for gifts.

Now, on to the good stuff.  We have had so much rain here in Texas that when I see sunny photos, I want to move where the sun is.  Busy Lifestyle Gal shared her Farmhouse Flower Box Planter.
This is so pretty.  I love the look of the wood with the burlap.  The hubster and I have some wood leftovers from our board and batten projects...I may have something new for him to work on. :-)

Inspirational wall art is all the rage right now.  Chas Crazy Creations shared how she created a Inspirational Wall Art on the cheap...
...this is just adorable and so easy to make!  I am all about some inexpensive home decor!

And, speaking of homemade home decor, Lora Bloomquist created this DIY Button Topiary!  What a great idea for all those leftover buttons...
...you can find jars of them just about anywhere!  I just love it!

The most clicked-on link from last week was from Life of 2 Snowbirds.  They shared wonderful tips from their First RV Road Trip.
So much information...I encourage you to check it out if you are planning on hitting the road in an RV!

Thank you all for sharing at Celebrate Your Story and congratulations to all our featured bloggers!  Please don't leave before linking up this week, we appreciate your participation greatly.

    1. Jenna, you are so right! I can't believe that June is right around the corner! It seems we just got to May! Thank you so much...the weather here has been very volatile this spring. We've had Alabama weather. :-) We are hoping this stuff pushes out for a nice Memorial Day weekend! I do hope you have a great holiday weekend! Thanks so much! Hugs!

    1. Kris, these bloggers are so talented! It is so difficult each week to pick a favorite...it takes me forever! LOL I'm trying to get into the habit of picking up gifts so that I can make it a practice to do so every year! I hate waiting until the last minute! Summer in Texas is not my favorite. If I could live in Canada for the summer, then I might like it better! ;-) Love and hugs sweet friend!

  7. So many great ideas...so little time...because you are so right: TIME JUST SEEMS TO FLY. I like Christmas shopping all along too but haven't come across any good deals lately. I'd better get on it or I will be dealing with the crowds and I hate that!!!
