We Interrupt This Blog....

...for a crisis.  Well, probably not a crisis, but definitely something that interrupts the day and creates a little chaos.

We have a water leak under the kitchen sink AND the hubby is out-of-town on business.  Found it first thing this morning.  Aren't these things supposed to happen on Monday mornings and not on Friday mornings???  Oh well.  Life happens and blogs do not get written.  That's just the way the ball bounces or the cookie crumbles or the grass grows or pick one of a bazillion other clichés to describe this situation!  It is what it is and I will write a post tonight for tomorrow...or maybe not...depends on how the stress level runs today.  This is life and it is not all roses, squirt guns, strawberries and play dates!

Happy Friday!  :-)

  1. I feel for ya, my friend. I haven't had any leaks here, but when something happens, I call the maintenance man. And I don't have to be married to him and do his laundry!

    1. HA HA HA…..that is hilarious!!! Thankfully, I wasn’t married to this guy either. Since we are temporary renters, we call maintenance and they send someone out…easy peasy! Hope you are feeling better!

    1. Thank you Kris, and yes it is!! :-) We called maintenance, they sent someone out and by early afternoon, I was back in business! All that was left was clean up. I saved that until after I had a chocolate milkshake to calm my nerves! Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. It is now fixed, fortunately! And no, not a good way to start the weekend, but the chocolate milkshake I treated myself to helped me get it back on track! Have a great weekend Amy!

  5. We've had a couple of leaks lately, a virtual flood in my kitchen two years ago. It wasn't pretty, but it made for a great post! ;)
