Celebrate Your Story! #171

SPRING FORWARD!

I hate the time change because it always takes my body a couple of weeks to get used to a new routine.  The time change throws me off...big time!  Dark when I get up, dark when I go to bed...was there even any daylight in between?! ;-)

I don't know about you guys, but it's been crazy around here....busy with blog work, working on home projects and 80 degree temps over the weekend!  If we have 80 degrees in March, that means this summer is going to be blistering!  Of course, summers in Texas are always blistering, what am I talking about?!

I love seeing easy craft ideas to decorate my home.  This DIY Moss Topiary from Zucchini Sisters was just too adorable!
I think sometimes we underestimate what the dollar stores have to offer.  I read over the weekend that Family Dollar will be closing some of their stores...makes me sad.

I am always at a loss as to how to use the color green (other than greenery) in my decor.  If you've seen the photos of our home, you know that there is literally no green...anywhere.  Calypso in the Country shared Simple Ideas for Decorating with Green.
I love the bar cart styling, as I'm always at a loss as to what to do!

Botanic Bleu created this beautiful centerpiece Green Signs of Spring | French Country Spirit.
Her soup tureen looks beautiful with the blue muscari!

Our most clicked-on link this week was The Organized Life, March Paint Bucket from The Painted Apron.
I just met Jenna last week and she is adorable, creative and talented!

  7. I'm looking around, I don't have any green in my decor either, other than plants. Not even sure why, I like green.

    1. I like it also and don’t understand why I don’t have any….LOL. It’s weird the colors we end up migrating to and then those become the post popular ones we always use! 😊 Love and hugs!
