We are in the final countdown for the appearance of the Big Guy! Kids are out of school, out of their routine and full of energy. You, however, are not! If you are like me, mentally, you have already moved past the mountains of wrapping paper and gift boxes and moved on to something that is really all about you....New Year's Eve!
You spend your time hiding in the closet and dreaming of how you will look in that new "little black dress", heels and all things sparkly that you received for Christmas. You're dreaming of that nice, romantic dinner party or spending some quiet time with someone special for that perfect kiss at midnight. Suddenly, you panic and realize that you need something pretty to put on the table for this last special event of the year.
Thankfully, I'm here to help....to show you a few options! And before we go any further, no, I'm not getting paid nor was I asked to write this post. I just love pretty, shiny things for New Year's Eve and wanted to share them with you!
I have been enamored with all things gold lately, so naturally, this decanter caught my eye....and it is 70% off! Seventy percent people....the big seven - zero.
Not a drinker? No problem. Some sparking juice would look lovely in this decanter.....or some eggnog! :-)
Something else I found that would be beautiful on that table...these wine glasses.
Don't want to spend a lot of money....make your own with this tutorial. Easy and pretty!
Tablecloth? Yes, please...
You will need a silver serving tray that will show up on that beautiful tablecloth...
And last but not least, some confetti!
Next week, I will share a few simple appetizers for the big night!

Nice!! I haven't been a huge fan of NYE in the past....I was always either working or performing. Now that I have the option to have a quiet night I often take it! This year? Who knows!! I love these sparkly items for any glam party, though!
ReplyDeleteI've never been a big NYE person other, but I'm really into this year and am hoping to have a great one! Hope you are resting up for the big day tomorrow! Merry Christmas!!
DeleteI am liking all your gold! We go super easy for New Year's Eve and I am not even sure we will stay up to midnight here!
ReplyDeleteI like all the glitter too and hope to have some fun festivities before midnight. I never make it that long either...LOL
DeleteCan you believe I've never in my life been to a New Year's Eve party of any variety? Well, of course you can!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
LOL…then we need to get together one year and have a NYE party! :-)
DeleteI love all of this! But then, I'm a "bling" kind of gal :) I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is thinking past Christmas. Bring on the New Year's festivities!!
ReplyDeleteHA! I'm with you...I'm all about the bling also! I start thinking past Christmas about 2 weeks before it gets here...LOL So we are agreed? Happy New Year!! :-))
DeletePretty pretty! We're staying in this year again, so you've given me some ideas. Can't wait for the appetizers :)
ReplyDeleteI heard there were some tornado watches in your area. I hope you're okay!!
Stay safe and Merry Christmas again :)

rue
I’m with you on the appetizers!! We did have a rough time last night…tornadoes hit all around us, but we were safe! Thank goodness. I hope you have a most wonderful Merry Christmas sweet friend! Much love and hugs to you!!
