Pfft, where's the fun in that??!! The best thing about pancakes is the flip, especially when they
Anywho, I wanted to share this easy-peasy, super-simple pancake recipe with you today. It is no secret that I love cinnamon. I add cinnamon or cinnamon sugar to most of my recipes, including my black beans. Maaannn, I just gave away one of my best secret ingredients! Oh well, who are you gonna tell??!! ;-)
CINNAMON PANCAKES
1 1/2 cups of regular pancake mix (doesn't matter what brand)
1/4 cups Hershey's Cinnamon Chips
2-3 Tablespoons of Cinnamon Sugar
3/4 cup of water (more if you want thinner, less if you want thicker)
Mix together, drop a small ladle full onto a hot flat skillet and cook! The cinnamon chips will turn a dark brown to black color. No worries, the pancakes aren't burned!
I hope you enjoy this recipe. I know we do!
Happy almost weekend!

DeleteOh my! That would be amazing! I can't eat sugar...poor me...but I still can have a couple of pancakes and eat them with fruit! Sounds good right now! I'm feeling better and appreciate your sweet comment. Sweet hugs, Diane

DeleteIf I was not on a grain-free diet, i would make these for tomorrow morning breakfast. Cinnamon - my favorite spice. The secret ingredient in my chili!
ReplyDeleteWe have pancakes about once every two weeks. I like trying different flavors. I use it in my chili also…Cinnamon is such a wonderful and versatile spice!
DeleteYour photos are always just stunning! I haven't had pancakes in a long time. I understand that cinnamon is very good for you. And you can use it like a root hormone to start new plants.

Thank you Brenda! Interesting! I had no idea that you could use it on plants. Thanks for the info -- I'm going to need it with that rose! :-) Have a great weekend!

That is too cool! I love these forks. I found them at a barn sale. Unfortunately, there were only 7 and I haven't been able to find any more like them...yet. I have been keeping my eyes open at flea markets and such trying to find some more! Thank you...they were pretty good if I do say so myself! LOL Have a great weekend!!
