Remember the Will Smith line from "Men In Black"..."the best of the best of the best, sir!"? Well, this is not 'the best of the best of the best, sir'....this is the best of my blog from 2018!
I know that it is popular at the beginning of each year for some bloggers to post their "Top 10" posts from the previous year.
Since it is me and I always buck the system, I'm only going to post 5. I view looking back over previous posts as a memory refresher so I don't keep writing the same thing over and over. It is also a way to check my progress throughout the year...seeing what works for readers and what doesn't. When you write a post, you never know whether it is going to be a beautiful dive with little splash into the water or a big ol' belly flop into the shallow end of the pool! It's just the way it is.
My Number 1 post for 2018 was How To Completely Change the Look of a Chair. This post was featured on Hometalk this week.
I enjoyed this project and it was not difficult. I was very pleased with the outcome and it looks great in our living room.
My Number 2 post was For the Love of a Door.
While all I did for this project was give it a new coat of paint, I am thrilled with how it changed the look of our home.
Number 3 was the cute little Santa candy pot...Crafting with Santa.
Easy peasy and cute as a button. This was a project that was part of a blog hop that I participated in with some wonderful bloggers. I gave a few of these as Christmas gifts.
No big surprise here, but Number 4 was the Magnolia Table Mac & Cheese...
I mean, who doesn't love Mac & Cheese?! Or Magnolia Silos? Or Chip and Joanna Gaines? Or Waco?
And last, but not least, the Number 5 post for 2018 was My Grown-Up Christmas List...
...who'd a-thunk it?! I never imagined this post as being one of the most favored on my blog for 2018. By the way, I didn't get any of the things on my list! ;-)
That about wraps it up...moving on to 2019! Who knows what will be on that list?!

DeleteLoved this post . I just pinned the Santa project . How stinking adorable and easy . Your list of wishes cracked me up . 😂 my hair is thick and course and I’ve worn it short for so long now that i can’t imagine it bring longer . But.... for years my hair was down to my behind ! I slowly kept cutting and now, it’s short hair for me . Manageable and no fuss . At my age girl, I’m all about easy . Lol . Enjoyed this today . Hugs and blessings, Vjndy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Cindy! That Santa project was easy and I have to have easy projects! I'm going to get some pots this week and try it with some gold spray paint...for some bling. :-) I've had short hair for quite some time and I doubt that is going to change. It is thick and course also, just easier to keep while short. Thanks you so much for your sweet words! Love and hugs!
DeleteIt always amazes me what posts I write that people nost prefer. It typically is not what I'd have chosen. So it's always surprising!

Me too Brenda! I don’t like some of the things I’ve written, but others seem to love it! Guess we are hardest on ourselves. Love and hugs!
