Celebrate Your Story! #184

I would like to report that we are not roasting here in Texas!  Normally by now, the temps are absolutely unbearable and we have brown grass and half-dead plants.  Not so right now.  We've had quite a bit of rain this spring and yesterday, had a storm blow through that will leave us with highs in the 70's on Tuesday...CRAZY!!

Last week I shared my adventures in Basket Making...

I'm still in recovery.  :-)  While I was recovering, I enjoyed looking through last week's submissions for the link party.

I have always wished that I could draw or paint but I just wasn't given that gift.  Since I am unable to do either of these things, I have chosen to live vicariously through Jenna at The Painted Apron.  She shared her "how to" on painting a Hibiscus Watercolor.

So gorgeous and so talented!

Another gorgeous paint project was shared by Gail at Purple Hues and Me.  She transformed a dollar store vase into a McKenzie-Childs replica!

I love these colors!

I know no one besides me is even thinking about fall (one of my most favorite times of year) but when I saw this...

Sunflower Clothespin Wreath from Chas Crazy Creations, I knew I would be recreating this project for fall.  It is so easy and so pretty!

Our most clicked-on link was this adorable Llama Pillow from Kippi at Home!

Who would not want this in a child's bedroom??!  So cute!

Thank you all for sharing at Celebrate Your Story and congratulations to all our featured bloggers!  Please don't leave before linking up this week, we appreciate your participation greatly.

  8. Such great features today. Oh I wish I could paint too! That Jenna knows she can do her some painting. And cooking and well, anything else from what I have seen. Girl, I would have to take a vacation had I tackled something like that basket! You the woman! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  10. Oh that sweet llama pillow! I always wanted llamas, and goats, sheep...you name it.

I love watercolors but never tried it, only oils. Maybe I'll try to do that beautiful hibiscus!
