For a little review, how many of you use Ctrl+Z? How many of you remember what it does? Good, now we can move on. :-)
Got a zipper that sticks?
Rub along the zipper with a graphite pencil...zipper will move freely.
Need to conceal your keys, money, credit card and phone while at the beach?
Clean out an old suntan lotion bottle, drop your belongings inside, place into your beach bag and you're good to go!
Want iced coffee without it being watered down?
Pour cooled coffee into an ice tray and freeze. It's ready to use when you need it.
To peel boiled eggs easily, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the water when boiling.
Shells will slip right off.
To clean your shower head, fill a baggie half full of vinegar and tie it on the shower head to sit overnight.
Remove the next morning and your shower head will be clean.
Use Oxy-Clean Whitening powder to brighten and clean your kitchen sink. Plug your sink using the strainer, pour one scoop of Oxy-Clean in and fill with hot water.
Let sit for 30 minutes, drain and rinse. Your sink will be sparkling clean. I do this about once a week.
Enjoy!

Great hacks! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much and thank you for visiting! I hope you will visit again! Have a great one! Hugs!
DeleteHave you tried the baking soda egg hack? I might have to try that one!
ReplyDeleteI haven’t tried the baking soda, but am going to try it today. I boil eggs just about every day. I’ve been boiling them and then letting them sit in cold water before peeling. It is hit or miss with the cold water. I will let you know if it works. Hugs!
DeleteMy eggs always peel easily if you place them in a bit of cold water and put a lid over and do the shake shake shake...in fact I made deviled eggs over the week end and did the shake rattle and roll and they slipped right off. LOL Thanks sweet friend for the hacks this Monday morning.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the "shake, shake, shake" but will give it a try if the baking soda trick doesn't work. I've tried letting them sit in cold water after boiling and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm ready to find something that works every time...LOL Thanks so much for the new hack and you are welcome! Hope your day is off to a great start! Hugs!
DeleteOk.. now I'm going to have to look up control+Z.... I'm an Apple girl, so I have no idea! LOL. Good to know about the eggs. I've been cleaning the shower head this way for about a year and it really does work. Thanks for the info! Have a great week!!!!
ReplyDeleteCTRL+Z is an awesome thing...it fixes my mistakes many times each day. I don't know if it works with Apple or not, but it is a lifesaver on PC. Glad to know the shower head cleaning hack works...I will be using this! You're very welcome and thank you! Hope you have a great week as well! Hugs!!
DeleteHi Benita. Happy Monday. That is interesting about the eggs. I always heard that you need to put your eggs in very cold water and then set the heat up to bring them to a boil after 5 minutes then let them sit in the water. They will peel easy. I love all these hacks and so glad you share them. I will have to look into that sun tan phone keep. That is pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
Honey, I’m so far behind on responding…I have family visiting, so I apologize! The baking soda works perfectly with the eggs. I always put salt in my eggs to keep the shells from cracking and I was afraid I might have an explosion with the baking soda and salt. But nothing happened except the shells came off smoothly. YES on the suntan lotion bottle to carry things on the beach! I like that hack a lot! Love and hugs!
DeleteLove the life hacks Benita. I use control Z a lot! LOL! Haven't tried the baking soda with eggs. I drain mine and add cold water, then a batch of ice and wala! Just pinned these hacks. Going to try several. Thanks so much for sharing. Looking at that bottle of suntan lotion just made me REALLY want to go to the beach! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I use CRTL+Z alot also...like many, many times a day...LOL I did try the baking soda with eggs...worked like a charm! I like the suntan lotion bottle for the beach also...carries your stuff and keeps sand from getting all over your phone! Love and hugs!!
DeleteOk I admit I have no idea what Control Z does, and I work on computers all day long!!! Great hacks as always, my friend! I wonder how that oxy in the sink tip would work with my porcelain sink? I'll have to add it to my shopping list and give it a try!
ReplyDeleteCTRL + Z undoes your mistake, whatever it might be. Unless you close the document, then there’s nothing it can do for you…LOL I think it would work well…it is a whitening agent and since it is gentle for clothing, it shouldn’t harm the sink. Love and hugs!
DeleteThe baking soda to help with peeling eggs, I am going to try that.
ReplyDeleteIt works Carla, I did it the other day! I loved it because I didn't have to wait for the eggs to cool all the way down! Love and hugs!
