Just A Little Something....

While the hubster hasn't said a great deal about the "egg-splosion" last week, he leaves little subtle reminders, like this...


But I've moved on! :-)

Because I love the Autumn season so much, and to celebrate the fact that we are finally in our new home, I've decided to host a little giveaway.

A couple of weeks ago, I found this adorable little set at HomeGoods.


 I purchased it and brought it home.  After looking at it for a few days, I decided that I would give a set to one of my sweet readers.  I really love this little set...


....it's vintage look...the intricate details...don't you just love it!  It is perfect for your everyday table and will be a nice addition to the table at Thanksgiving.

 All you have to do to enter this giveaway is to follow me on Pinterest (leave a comment to let me know) and refer a friend who leaves a comment and follows!  It's just that simple!

I tried using the Rafflecopter deal, but it's not functioning for me today.  Looks like pulling a number out of hat will have to do this time!


I don't know about you, but I love winning things and giving things to my friends!

    I didn't follow your last email....so you have eggs falling from the ceiling? I missed that small detail in your post. Yes we've all forgotten the eggs but I've never had them stuck to my brand new ceiling! You poor thing.

      The egg debacle does continue...unfortunately...LOL

      Oh my goodness, bless your heart! That story is hilarious, but it is so not funny! Dr. Pepper is a total nightmare and yes, I get it...in a can for better burn...LOL AND more mess!! And I totally get the cussing...I said a few "choice" words myself...they just slipped right on out like they belonged there...LOL

      Ugh how long do you have to “wear that egg on your face”? Since Hubster is not diplomatically “Walking on eggshells” around this minor incident, you know that saying if you can’t beat em, join em? It’s not like you had “all your eggs in one basket”/pot so tell Hubster to “Go lay an egg” and that he should “quit his squawking” or you will “get him up with the chickens” to “hen peck” him till he is “running around like a chicken with his head cut off” doing chores, while you “fly the coop” and take in a “chick flick”! “One day cock of the walk, next day feather duster” – you can win this one by just dishing it right back to him – sunny side up - lol!

      LOL...he tries to come off looking sweet, but he ends up ragging on me about something...like this...LOL.     you love fall? YOU LOVE FALL? I already moaned to Tessa about this. I hate it. not sun. it's freezing cold. and we do neither Halloween nor Thanksgiving here so there is nothing to look forward to until Xmas. which I happen to dislike too.       Awwww, Petra, I'm so sorry you guys do not do Halloween over there...it is so much fun! I thought all of Europe celebrated Halloween....I suppose I don't know very much...LOL. I do love fall...the change in weather is wonderful, but I'm a "fall and winter" person and tolerate the warmer months. The eggs exploded all over our kitchen because I was sucked into watching a Hallmark Channel movie (do y'all have the Hallmark Channel over there?). They were on to boil and I totally forgot about them. When the water boiled away, the eggs started exploding...it was a nasty mess..everywhere...LOL.
