I know that most of you think that when you have lemons, you make lemonade. Not me! If I have a few lemons and some pink hydrangeas laying around, they remind me to get out the lemon-flavored pudding, some yellow cake mix and make this wonderful recipe for Easter...Warm Winter Lemon Cake.
I know the title of the cake indicates that it is only intended for winter, but the look of this wonderful-tasting cake reminds me of nothing but spring! I found this recipe a few years ago at kraftrecipes.com. I fell in love with it immediately because the photo looked appetizing and it seemed so easy to make. And if you've been reading my blog, you know I'm all about easy!
Give this cake a try for your dessert on Easter, you won't be disappointed.
I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed Easter....and don't eat all of those boiled eggs at one time...you'll get worms! ;-)

I think you know I'm a lemon nut Benita. I just came across a lemon cheese cake that looks amazing. Dangerous, but amazing.

Oh, that looks so good! There's just something about desserts made with lemons that quench your thirst and sweet tooth.

As I am constantly telling Jemma, my favorite foods have lemon in them, especially desserts. That slice looks so good, Benita! I promise you I won't get worms as I don't like boiled eggs, except transformed into egg salad! You're a doozy, Benita. Have a wonderful Easter!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds wonderful! Perfect for dessert on a holiday. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI actually have a lot of lemons. My sister has a huge tree and has brought me a sack. I've been wondering what to do with them all and this cake looks GOOD. Happy Easter!
