Holiday Place Settings....

I know I promised a post on that wonderful milkshake I drink every day, but I really wanted you all to see these before the holiday bustle kicks in next week! :-)

I am constantly perusing Pinterest.  I had stopped for a while...just like blogging and Instagram and did very well managing those addictions.  Unfortunately, I started looking again.  While Pinterest isn't necessarily a BAD thing...it is not a PRODUCTIVE thing. :-)

While scrolling around last week, I saw so many gorgeous place settings for the holidays, but these two really caught my eye...

I love the black plate in the middle of this setting... and all of the goldware....just gorgeous!  Who would have thought to use a black plate for a holiday place setting?  Not me, that's for sure.

For Christmas, I found this beauty...

Both of these are so simple and so elegant...what do you think?

    1. Simple and elegant work for me, I don't like having to "unmake" the fancy tables. Love looking at them, but don't want to pull it all together!

  3. Um. Not really a fan of the black. I like the other one. Now Pinterest can be productive. It's my #1 social media referrer, which means income!

    1. I like a lot of black/white combos and would like to try this set for next year. I have the goldware already. That is true for you, it definitely translates to income...a very good thing!

  4. Not a real formal person (shocker ;-0 ) so the second really appeals to me. It's fresh and crisp while Christmasy.

  5. Love Pinterest! 99% of my Pins are recipes. They are going to make cookbooks obsolete! NO!!!!

I love the second place setting. I saw wood chargers similar to these at Pier 1. Hopefully they will go on sale. ;-D

    1. I would die if cookbooks became obsolete! I enjoy looking through my cookbooks to find new recipes and to relax while watching TV. Pier 1 has the coolest things and I love when they have a sale or when I get a gift card from there – hint to the hubster!!! :-)

    1. Black is one of my favorite colors…90% of the clothing in my closet is black. I do agree, it is dramatic and has an edge! I love the first setting for Thanksgiving and it could probably transition into Christmas….that black plate just makes such a bold statement!!

  8. I love them both and would use both, yes. I pin mostly from blogs I read, and that's where I spend most of my online time - reading blogs. :)

Both are stunning and beautiful in their own ways. I love the white with the touch of natural greenery and a deep shade of red.

  13. Beautiful tables...had to pin both tables settings... I know hubs would choose the black plate. My dream home would have a well-organized butler's pantry so I could change out table settings. xoxo
