You Know How.....

...Pinterest sends you those little emails labeled "Your Inspiration for the Week"?  Well, I got one of those the other day.  You know what they sent to inspire me?  Carrot Cookies!!  A recipe for Carrot Cookies!

Now just to set the record straight, nothing about carrots inspires me.  You want to inspire me, send me some chocolate, or HomeGoods pillows, or a Pier 1 gift card, or some money...but sending me carrot anything is not an inspiration!

Pinterest, I hope you are listening! :-)

Just a little stress relief y'all!  I hope you are all looking forward to Day 2 of the Fall Home Tour!  I know I am!!

  7. Once upon a time many years ago, you prepared a beautiful speaking engagement portfolio for me. One of the items was a recipe for a family heirloom Carrot Cake. It became even more famous as I had a speaking engagement one weekend and prepared them a cake for s special treat. Little did I know or dream that the cake would be completely devoured while I was gone. Reason? That is ALL they ate while I was at the retreat. I still have that beautifully prepared portfolio....included is the recipe for that Carrot Cake. Would you like a copy? ;) Vicki
